James Smith is a well-known Businessman with over 30 years of experience. He began his career in EMS as an EMT in 1992, advancing his skills and certification to Paramedic in 1993. He remains active in EMS, serving as the Director of Operations for the same Non-Profit Ambulance Company. In 1995, Mr. Smith co-founded a NEMT / EMS company that is now one of the largest NEMT providers in Pennsylvania, employing over 200 employees with a fleet exceeding 130 vehicles. In 2021 Mr. Smith partnered with R4H Medical Transportation, along with his partners/team grew the Company from less than 30 vehicles to over 150 in only 3 years and it continues to grow rapidly. He has served as a Board / Committee Member with multiple agencies and is considered an “expert” in the NEMT Industry. In 2013, Mr. Smith Founded JC Paratransit Solutions which services EMS / NEMT companies with vehicle, software, and consulting services. With experience, knowledge, and proven success in EMS and the NEMT Industry JC Paratransit has created EZ-COR! EZ-COR was created to be utilized by any individual, company, or other organization for fleet and employee management!

Cara Smith’s 15 years of experience in the NEMT Industry, 10 years as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), and over 20 years of administrative / management expertise her passion, and dedication have driven the current companies to success! She has excelled as an entrepreneur and is the CEO of R4H Medical Transportation in Indiana County PA. With only 3 years in Business, she has grown the Company to a fleet of 40 vehicles and over 80 employees) Since the origin of JC Paratransit Solutions in 2013, Cara and Mr. Smith have grown the Company to where it is today. Both are enthusiastic about the launch of EZ-COR.
